Never Miss a Moment with Your Little Ones
If both you and your husband are full-time employees and you are almost always out of the house for the day, you of course leave your child behind with a baby sitter or another family member.
As a parent, even if you are not with your child, of course you will worry constantly, wondering if he or she is in good hands. Sure, you do have someone to look after him or her but during these times you can never really trust anybody.
There is good news for you working and worrying moms when you are away; you can use baby video monitors! These monitors are effective devices or tools for you to be able to see what your child or the babysitter is up to.
Getting baby video monitors is not really simply just for prying or spying on your baby sitter but also keeping yourself on track of the developments of your baby when you are not around.
There are audio and audio-visual baby video monitors that are available in the market. You just have to figure out which ones are reliable and efficient. To help you with your decisions, here are some of the things you should consider when you are looking for monitors:
1) Two Types
There are two types of baby video monitors: wireless and plug-in. As the name indicates, the wireless one is easier to navigate because you can definitely bring it or place it anywhere in the house without having to worry if the view would be enough for the plug.
You can also use wireless for yourself. For instance, the baby is sleeping in the room and you have to cook dinner, you can view the monitor even if you are in the kitchen and doing your chores at the same time you will be alarmed too if your baby is still sleeping or awake.
2) Two More Types
As mentioned above, you can choose if you want the audio or the audio-visual monitor. However, the thing with audio-visual monitors is that they are too big, bulky and heavy compared with the audio monitors which are lightweight.
The audio monitors can even be clipped on to a belt so you can go around the house and do other chores while watching your kids.
3) Lighting
Before you buy the monitor, make sure that the resolution of the monitor can withstand the dark.
This is because probably your baby will be sleeping and of course, the lights will either be off or dim.
4) Sounds
If you are getting the audio-visual monitor, make sure that the microphone is attached to the camera.
Get a microphone that is very sensitive so you will be able to hear every sound there is even if you won’t get a clear picture especially during night time.
5) Accessories
It would be better if you the monitor you will get has alarm clock so you will be reminded of feeding or medications.
You will never miss a moment with your little one with these monitors.
